One of the founders of ERLER Textile, Galip Karataş, has founded The Galip Karataş Education, Culture and Solidarity Foundation in Şişli, Istanbul.

While Erler Textile has been embracing and beautifying human bodies with its fabrics for many years, we believe that The Galip Karataş Foundation will embrace the hearts and improve the quality of life. The Galip Karataş Foundation contributes to the services of Turkish National Education and supports Turkey's development and growth in terms of education, culture, health and social activities.

Despite being talented and successful, the Foundation will support students with limited financial means and meet their educational and social needs at all levels. The Foundation's activities are, but not limited to, providing scholarships in Turkey and abroad, providing in-kind and cash aid as well as shelter for our children.

It aims to financially and morally support all kinds of activities that will contribute to the development of successful and passionate individuals, institutions and organizations in the fields of education, culture and sports alongside giving awards to the most successful ones.

it is among the aims of The Galip Karataş Foundation to organize and support all kinds of activities and social responsibility projects in the fields of economics, social, cultural, science, education and tourism as well as to work with other people, institutions and organizations in cooperation for the promotion and development of our country.

Besides, The Galip Karataş Foundation endevours to provide exemplary behaviour in order to meet the needs of the most disadvantaged people of our society, to provide shelter as well as financial and moral assistance, to organize aid campaigns when necessary, and to raise social awareness in cooperation with other charities. In addition to this, we aim to support all kinds of welfare institutions, such as hospitals, polyclinics and nursing homes, in order for them to open, operate and carry out activities related to public health problems. Also, contributing to the establishment of other types of welfare institutions, such as kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, universities, faculties, and dormitories, and cooperating with those institutions by way of partnership in order to provide material-moral contribution is among the plans and objectives.

Finally, The Galip Karataş Foundation considers publishing newspapers and magazines under its roof within the scope of its objectives in order to announce all these aims and activities and encourage participation.
